School Fees / Uniforms / Note Books for 49 Differently – Abled Children / Children of Differently – Abled / Poor Children
For June 2010 month’s event, we had gathered together at Thiru Vi. Ka High School, Shenoy Nagar, Chennai to provide educational aid to the Differently Abled / Children of Differently-Abled / Poor Children. We provided School Fees / Uniforms / Note Books for 49 Children. We also entertained them by conducting various games such as Musical Chair, Talent Show and Throw Ball. We provided Lunch to the beneficiaries and their parents who had accompanied them for the event. The Children enjoyed the day and had fun. Our sincere thanks to Mr. Aarokiya Dass, who himself is a Differently-Abled Person and is the founder of Snegithan (It is a Registered Non Profit Trust which is providing assistance and guidance to the Differently-Abled and Poor People), who helped us to identify the beneficiaries and gathered them for the event. We have also provided educational aid for these beneficiaries in the past two years.
Food Expenses for Poor Physically Challenged Working Women of Thiyagam Women’s Trust, Madurai
Thiyagam Women Trust is providing free accommodation to Physically Challenged Working Women, who hail from poor background in rural areas around Madurai. They had been collecting Rs.400/- towards providing food for the physically challenged women who are working in the Thiyagam Tailoring Unit and Thiyagam Computer Centre. In October 2009, they planned not to collect money from the physically challenged working women & women under training, for providing food. They needed some helping hand to take care of the food provided to these women. So, from November 2009 onwards we have been taking care of the Food Expenses for the 10 poor Physically Challenged Working Women. We have provided Rs. 5,250/- towards the Food Expenses for the month of June 2010.
Attached is the Contribution & Expenses Open Account Sheet with Bill number column, for your reference, along with the scanned bills. We appreciate your valuable Suggestions/Comments about the event to plan and improve our future events. The excess amount of Rs. 35036.35 would be utilized for July 2010 month’s event.
